April 2026: Kimuras
The monthly theme for April 2026 involves a submission and position that is near and dear to our hearts: the Kimura. All of our regularly scheduled adult BJJ classes (all level 1, 2, and 4) will cover kimuras.
While often considered primarily a shoulder lock submission, we consider the Kimura a position too. Over the course of the month, learn how to use the grip to control someone, advance your position, and eventually get the submission.
