Ben Winn is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a second degree black belt in American Kick boxing, a dedicated student of Judo, and has attained the highest rank in the Taboada Balintawak system. He is currently a Kids’ BJJ instructor at Revolution BJJ.
Ben began his journey with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2005 and received his brown belt in 2014 from Andrew Smith and Julio “Foca” Fernandez. The exposure that Ben has had to a large spectrum of martial arts gives him a different perspective and approach to his training than someone who specializes in a particular art, often borrowing from one art to use in another. Ben is eager to share this joy of training with others and does so in part by leading the high energy Saturday morning kid’s class at Revolution BJJ.
Ben teaches Saturdays at Revolution BJJ, and frequently assists with and trains in other classes.
