Daniel Frank is a third degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He was awarded his black belt from Julio ‘Foca’ Fernandez, Andrew Smith, and Trey Martin in January 2014. Daniel graduated from the College of Charleston (S.C.) in 2002 with a history and secondary education degree. After briefly teaching high school, Daniel moved to South Korea and began a career in elementary education. He started his training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in January 2003 at Korea Academy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Lee Hee Sung. Daniel moved back to the United States in the spring of 2012 and has been a part of the Revolution BJJ team since. Daniel became an owner of Revolution BJJ in 2018. He loves teaching both kids’ and adult classes at the academy. Daniel has regularly competed, both nationally and internationally, since 2004.
