May 2024 brings with it the monthly theme of the open guard.  

We’ll consider sweeps and submissions from the likes of spider guard, lapel guard, and plenty of other long and short range guard types. We’ll continue to reinforce guard maintenance topics, so you can keep the person in your guard so that you can eventually sweep or submit them. 

All of our regularly scheduled adult BJJ classes (all level 1, 2, and 4) will cover open guard.
